Please be aware that The Wide Boot Company cannot be held responsible for delays by the courier company.
Please contact us if you wish to ship outside of the UK or USA and we will contact you to let you know if delivery is possible.
Items delivered to outside of UK may be subject to their own country's taxes/import duties. Delays and additional charges can occur in customs which are beyond our control; The Wide Boot Company are unable to predict these costs and the customer will be liable for paying any import costs should they arise so it is wise to check with your country's customs to assess possible costs before placing your order with us if you are unsure.
Should goods sent outside of the UK need to be returned or exchanged for any reason all postage costs are to be paid by the customer.
Please mark the return parcel clearly with 'RETURNS' to avoid The Wide Boot Company being charged import duty on this item.
Any import duty incurred if you have failed to mark your parcel as a return will need to be deducted from your refund.
Please carefully check sizing and if you have any concerns prior to ordering please contact us to discuss for in depth measurements
as we will be happy to help. The Wide Boot Company will NOT cover return postage costs on overseas items.
In compliance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a full refund to the value of goods purchased is valid within 30 days of receipt by customer (provided goods are returned unused and in original packaging with proof of purchase). Notification of intent to return is required within 14 days of delivery to you and you then have a further 14 days to return the item as per the Consumer Rights Act 2015 regarding distance/online selling. If you intend to return a non faulty item please notify us by email to firstname.lastname@example.org within 14 days of receiving your delivery.
Unfortunately this does not include any postage costs incurred by the customer.
Should you require a longer period than 30 days return due to the item being a gift please contact us before purchase.
If the boots are deemed to be faulty in any way then we will cover return postage costs if booked via methods outlined on the returns form and providing a receipt/proof of return postage cost is provided to us by photograph as proof for our records/accounts.
Items returned outside of 30 day period (unless faulty and pre-discussed) will not be refunded and will be returned to you upon payment of a return postage cost. If return postage cost remains unpaid for 30 days then we have the right to dispose of the item at our discretion.
Please choose an insured service; if you are unable to provide proof of delivery on an insured service (such as a signature) and your item goes missing in transit we can not be held responsible and will be unable to refund.
Items must be returned in an unworn and clean state. Please do not damage the box by sticking tape/labels directly to it - the box must be wrapped in a bag or similar outer wrapping layer. Should the box be damaged by tape or similar there will be a £10 deduction to your refund.
Should the item be returned to us creased and show any signs of wear (rendering them unsaleable at full price) then there will be a 15% reduction to your refund reflecting the fact that they will only be able to be resold as 'seconds'.
Notification and return of damaged or faulty products
Should you find fault with your boots notification must be given in writing accompanied with photographs
(where possible) to The Wide Boot Company so that we can assess any issue.
Please send your photographs and completed returns form to email@example.com and if we deem
the product to be damaged or faulty we will liaise with you to rectify the issue.
We are unable to refund any postage / re-collection costs incurred if you return damaged items without contacting us.
The Wide Boot Company will not cover postage costs for returned items but will cover the postage for exchange items (UK ONLY).

Any delivery service is acceptable as long as the item is on an insured service but we will need a receipt proving postage has been made. Return postage is to be paid by the customer but if item is being exchanged outgoing postage will be paid by The Wide Boot Company.
